Jomsom Trek and Culture Tour in Nepal

Paul, as others have mentioned, quickly responded to all email enquiries which was the main reason we chose Discovery World Trekking. This efficiency flowed through the whole trek from paul’s advice and assistance, to the professionalism of our excellent Guide, Tek Gurung  who catered for our every need. He along with the porters watched over us constantly to help us avoid grumpy Yaks, heavily loaded porters and other hazards on the trail. We were very well fed and much enjoyed the company of the trekking staff. We would unreservedly recommend Discovery World Trekking for a hassle-free and fun trek.

Trekking is a favorite activity for tourists to Nepal and is a great way to get to know the land and its residents. It involves getting up close and personal with nature while hiking for multiple days through hills and valleys to areas that are often far away from vehicle travel.

As an adventure activity, trekking is mostly done for entertainment, excitement, cultural interaction and education – getting to know a country and its people, culture, landscape and scenery among other highlights. For mountain climbing expeditions, trekking is often the first part of the journey where the mountaineers get used to the increasing altitude as well as the climate and landscape.
