Dol Gurung

Dol Gurung is a highly experienced trek leader from the remote Ruby Valley, who has been with the DWT family since 2012. From an early age, he used to hike over the mountains seeking inner peace. Moreover, he grew up in a family involved in trekking and climbing.

His interpersonal skills, smiley face, and humble & polite behavior suited him perfectly to become a guide. Dol started his career as a porter, and this is how he explored many trekking destinations. This experience also helped him understand what it takes to be an excellent guide - that can entertain clients while keeping the whole team safe and secure.

Dol Gurung specializes in Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, and Manaslu treks.

As a part of the Discovery World Trekking family, he identifies with the company goal - happiness is the key, and only happy people can keep others happy.
