Mansingh Gurung

Mansingh brings years of experience guiding valuable clients in the tough Himalayan terrains. He started working in the tourism industry at an early age, and he enjoyed the experience, which ultimately led him to choose trekking/hiking as a profession.

Like many of our DWT members, Mansingh started his career as a porter and gradually progressed to become a guide. He has gained a lot of experience in the upper Himalayan regions. As a person, Mansingh is well organized, meticulous, and has a can-do attitude.

Mansingh is also a member of DWT's happy family, constantly seeking ways to please others.

Training:

• Trekking guide training from the Government of Nepal.
• Intensive wilderness First Aid Training from Kathmandu Environmental Education Project.
• Conservation and biodiversity training conducted by the Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN).
• Basic Rock & Ice Climbing Training from Nepal Mountaineering Association.
