Forest fest in Nepal

Jungle festival is being organized by Parichaya Nepal at Shanti Ban Batika of Pokhara from date February 13 to 19 along with embarking the slogan "A green week". The festival will be held for seven days.

18 species of birds and 16 species of animals can be observed at the festival. An exhibition of different ethnic communities' lifestyle, handicraft and dances with inclusive of Raute community handicraft, forest environment friendly fashion show, circus and cultural show will be the main attraction of the programme.

Many more stalls of different continental meals, jungle makeup, fire dance, restaurant, domestic product and tourism related education will be exhibited inside in fest. Awareness information booth about wildlife animals and environment has been kept in the festival. It is also being celebrated with many more recreational activities such music concert, cultural and modern dance performances.

Festival organizers have estimated to participate both internal and external visitors around 1,15,000 in a week.
