About the Trip
The Seti River is great for people who are new to the sport of whitewater rafting. It is an easy 2 day raft departing from Damauli, and merging into the Trisuli River by the second day. This trip offers beautiful mountain views of the Annapurna South, Fish-Tail Mountain and Lamjung Himal.

Drive to Damauli rafting and camp at sarangghat
We drive to Pokhara in the morning and drive to Damauli - 2 hrs approximately, our put-in point. After the rafting is rigged we will set off down the Seti River at the bank of Seti river. We spend the whole day within its forested canyon and around. Travelling by waterways (rafts) is a perfect way to view undisturbed wildlife and feel the nature. When we stop for lunch we have time to explore, Photograph, bird-watch, swim or relax around the crew. Then we'll stay by near the village of Saranghat. Inhabited by Magars, who are renowned for generations of service with the Gurkha forces Saranghat(History), is a colourful middle hills village.

Rafting ends at Gaighat then drive to Kathmandu/Chitwan/Pokhara
We'll have breakfast and pack the raft, we will raft down the river. Later we'll encounter the technical rapid grade 3 shortly after the rapid we leave Seti Khola and enter Trisuli River(The river Current Is Mindblowing and definitely something beyond Thrill). Here the middle hills recede and the Terai plain opens before us. we can see twist severe rock formations give away to sandstone and gravel deposited by antecedent rivers (You'll love it). After lunch we have opportunity to visit a unique religious community , Devhgat . Each Year thousands of pilgrims visit the ashram to worship. The rafting ends at Gaighat and drive back to Kathmandu or visit Chitwan National Park (whatever you'll decide we're here to fulfil). In this way, our Seti River Rafting will be over.

Trip Information
How your Journey will Start Towards Seti River Rafting
You will arrive in Nepal, Kathmandu at Tribhuwan International Airport as that is the only international airport. An overnight stay in a hotel in Kathmandu is required upon the arrival. The next day we will be travelling to our destination via bus or a local jeep.

We provide free airport pickup and drop by private vehicle. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our Discovery world trekking crew with a traditional offering of Khada or marigolds garland (symbolizing purity, goodwill, auspiciousness and compassion), then directly transfer you to your hotel. To make use of this service please submit full flight details of arrival and departure in advance by mail.
Money exchange
You can exchange most foreign currencies through the banks and through the money exchanges. Money exchangers are also legitimate. You might be able to also exchange small amounts of cash at the hotel you are staying. Money exchange facilities are available in Kathmandu. Money changers or Money exchangers in Kathmandu are found all over Thamel. The going rate is normally displayed in the front of the stores on a board. The official currency of Nepal is the Nepali Rupee (NRP). Its symbol is often displayed as Rs. The government of Nepal has banned the import, export and use of 500 and 1000 Indian Rupees in Nepal. There is a day transaction limit on cash withdrawing if you use the bank. Safety During Rafting
Discovery World Trekking guarantees our client’s safety, security and satisfaction. Safety is the utmost important concern for us. For the rafting, we will be carrying all the necessary gears, types of equipment and first aid kits for any worst-case scenario. Our leaders and guides have vast knowledge and have extensive first aid training. If a rafter feels uneasy due to the current of the river, it is entirely up to the leader to decide if he/she will further continue as health is very important. During the rafting, every group will be together so that everyone is safe and won't wander off alone.
